Fraud Detection Mod

Anyone who has ever been hit with a chargeback for a fraudulent order knows how costly it is. You are responsible for:
  • Refunding the order amount to the credit card used (taken from your account when the cardholder disputes the charge).
  • Your inventory cost for the items that you shipped.
  • Your shipping cost to send the items.
  • The chargeback fee imposed by your credit card processer.
  • Any related fees charged by your merchant account.
Even one chargeback can be very expensive which is why we developed the anti-fraud mod for ClickCartPro v5.1

If this mod When this mod stops you from filling just one fraudulent order then it paid for itself.

This mod collects geographic information used by the computer that is placing the order and compares it to the information submitted by the person placing the order and if there is a mismatch then you are notified via email that the order is likely to be fraudulent so you can investigate further before shipping any merchandise.

This mod also has a filtering system that:
  • Allows you to block orders from being placed from computers in Countries that you specify.
  • Allows you to block orders from ALL Countries EXCEPT those that you specify.
The benefit of blocking users from placing orders vs. blocking them from accessing your site altogether is that your site is accessible by all robots like googlebot.co.uk so your site does not appear as down to foreign users and/or robots so you retain all of the benefits of SEO while still being able to block those pesky orders from Ghana and Nigeria and the Netherlands etc.

Stop fraudulent orders in their tracks while letting fraud networks know that your site is not unprotected with the Anti-Fraud mod from Cartmod today.
